RETURNS

 

All delivered goods require inspection. Our couriers are obliged to wait while you inspect your purchase. If you notice any marks or dents to the packaging, please accept and sign as "Damaged".

 

In the unlikely event goods arrive damaged or parts missing, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. If possible by email with accompanying pictures. We will arrange for a replacement as soon as possible and pay the cost of delivering the new item and collection of the damaged one.

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for and arrange for the return of the goods, in an "As New" condition and in the original packaging.

 

If no notification by email or in writing has been received by us within 7 days of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.

 

Andrew Carpenter Design takes great care to make sure all of its information and details are correct on our website. All orders are "specially made to order" and can only be cancelled within 48 hours of the order being accepted by us.

POLICIES

GUARANTEE

 

This guarantee covers the original goods supplied only. If the products are faulty, then provided the products are returned to us within the two year guarantee period, we will repair or replace them free of charge. We will also refund your return delivery costs. However, in the event that we find no fault, we reserve the right to return the products to you and to recover the return delivery costs from you.

 

Careful manufacturing processes and quality control ensure that Andrew Carpenter Design furniture is absolutely immaculate. Mistakes are therefore highly unlikely, however, all our products are sold with a two year guarantee on the craftsmanship of all units, and the functional safety of all parts as well as on the quality of materials and surfaces of solid woods, veneers and lacquers.

 

1. This guarantee will be granted only when the original invoice is presented together with the defective product. Andrew Carpenter Design reserves the right to refuse free-of-charge guarantee service if the above document cannot be presented.

 

2. This guarantee will not reimburse nor cover the damage resulting from any failure to comply with the issued care instructions.

 

3. This guarantee does not cover any the following:

 

a. damages due to wear and tear and incorrect use or care of the furniture.

 

b. any adaptation or changes to the product, including those carried out by reputable companies.

 

c. delivery costs and all risks of transport relating directly or indirectly to the guarantee of the product.

 

d. damage resulting from accidents, lightning, water, fire, heat, improper ventilation or any cause beyond the control of Andrew Carpenter Design.

 

e. problems associated with natural wood products are not covered in anyway including movement, cracks, shakes, moisture etc. Natural variations in the colour or texture of wood are not to be considered as defects. Hairline cracks in painted doors occur due to movement in the timber which is a natural occurrence due to the nature of the wood. This movement will be increased depending on moisture and humidity levels and temperature levels, therefore any hairline cracks that may develop are not considered a defect.

 

f. The guarantee is not transferable and does not cover ex-display units, prototype units or slight seconds.

 

This guarantee does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under applicable national laws in force.
